Mason absolutely made the process smooth.
My wife and I live in Texas but have long wanted to have a second home in Cape Cod. Part of what’s holding us back is making such a large purchase from the other side of the country, handling the logistics of going up and back (we have 2 young kids), and everything else that comes with a regular house purchase.
Mason absolutely made the process smooth. It was less stressful than purchasing our own primary home in the city where we live. Not only did Mason do everything a realtor is supposed to do, but he went above and beyond, visiting several properties on our behalf, shooting very detailed videos/photos, introducing us to lenders and insurance companies, pointing out things in each home that we should be aware of, and doing the proper market diligence to ensure we were getting a good deal. These tasks may seem trivial, but being remote makes them exponentially harder – but not with Mason as our realtor. We also had an issue with the septic tank in the house which the seller agreed to replace, but Mason supervised the process and ensured it was done according to how it was designed.
We also plan to utilize our home a short-term rental while we’re away which is a market Mason knows much about given he has his own rentals. He was able to guide us through what to expect on rent, operating costs, etc. to ensure we understood the potential for the property to help pay for itself.
We will absolutely use Mason again if and when we go to purchase another property in Cape Cod. He was the best realtor we’ve worked with period (and I haven’t even met him in person yet!).
